Mr. Robert J. Boulanger, 85, of Berlin NH, passed away Nov. 27, 2006, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon NH. He was born in Berlin on Oct. 18, 1921, the son of Arthur and Rose Anna (Filteau) Boulanger. He attended St. Regis Academy and was a graduate of Berlin High School.

After graduation he enlisted in the United States Army Corps during World War II and served from September 1942 to January 1946. He graduated from the Air Force Technical Training Command as an aircraft engine mechanic. Upon completion of his military service, he worked for the Brown Company as a painter and roofer until his retirement in 1975.

Robert loved playing golf; he was so proud of getting a hole-in-one once at the Androscoggin Valley Country Club. He was also a member of the American Legion, life member of VFW Post 2520, R.S.V.P., and a volunteer at St Anne Parish.

He married Liliane Henri on June 22, 1946, who survives him. He is also survived by his brother Arthur Boulanger and sisters Marguerite Bergeron and Jeannette Legere all of Berlin, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Romeo, Francis, and Maurice Boulanger; and sisters Yvette Morneau and Cecile Delorge.
