She was the loving mother of Donald Everette and Edgar Mychal Watts, Memorial #139091199, both buried at Bethel.

Ruby Clark Watts, 91, widow of Edgar R. Watts, died Sunday, March 28, 2004, at her home.

Born in Williamsburg County, she was the daughter of the late Lorenza Dow Clark and the late Julia Carolyn Cantey Clark. Mrs. Watts was a faithful member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Oswego, where she served as president of the Alice Andrews Bible Class and secretary of United Methodist Church Women's group for more than 30 years. She also worked diligently heading up many church fund-raisers.Surviving are a son, Clark O'Neal Watts of Sumter; daughters-in-law, Deborah Watts, Rachel Watts Geddings and Alberta Watts, all of Sumter; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her two sons, Michael Watts and Donald Watts; three sisters, Alma DuBose, Edna Clark and Grace Clark; and three brothers, Belton Clark, David Clark and L.D. Clark.Funeral services were held at at Bethel United Methodist Church in Oswego with the Rev. Michael Henderson officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
