Mrs. Mary Ellen Colley
Mary Ellen Colley, 82, widow of the late Dr. James R. Colley, for 40 years a Methodist minister in Ohio,
died at 7:40 o'clock Tuesday evening at her home in Washington C. H.
Death was attributed to pneumonia.
She became seriously ill Sunday night. Mrs. Colley was born in Yorkshire, England and came to the
United States in 1886.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the R. B. Walker Funeral Home at 2 o'clock. Dr. W. B.
Kilpatrick will officiate assisted by Dr. George B Parkin and Dr. William B. Richards.
Interment will be made in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Surviving are two sons, Frank M. Colley, Columbus and James William Colley of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two granddaughters
and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Colley lived in Hillsboro for several years when Dr. Colley was pastor of the local Methodist Church.
