After the deaths of her parents 1823 and 1829, she and all her siblings moved to Fayette County, Georgia. Shortly after moving there she married Joseph Thomas Westbrook on January 27, 1832 Fayette County, Georgia. Louisa and her sister Elizabeth married Westbrook brothers Joseph and Bartholomew.
Louisa and Joseph lived in Fayette until 1834 shortly
after the birth of their son Pinckney the family along with other members of both families moved to the new land opened in Benton County, Alabama.
Joseph died 1849 and is buried at Lebanon Cemetery; Louisa married for a second time 1852 to Robert Alexander Clark.
In letters written to her sons during the Civil War, Robert tell the "Boys" that Louisa was in poor health and unable to write. Robert stated in 1872, that Louisa had rheumatism at the time of her death.
