He was the son of Aswin and Mary (Gast) Anderson. On Oct 19, 1963, he married Yvonne Kitzmiller, who preceded him in death.
Surviving are five daughters: Mary Beth (Jim) O'Keefe, Bartlett, IL, Julie (Norm) Mause, Ft. Collins, CO, Karen (Ralph) Wiley, Saint Marys, Emily (Dave) Ernst, Hamilton, and Jennifer (John) Kleine, New Palestine, IN; a brother, Michael, Saint Marys; a sister, Mary Jane (Alan) McCall, Falls Church, Virginia; and sixteen grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers: Robert and David.
He was a graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School and the University of Dayton. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He had worked as a salesman for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and was the owner/operator of Varsity Bowling Lanes, St. Marys, for many years. He retired from the State Highway Patrol, where he was a vehicle inspector. He was a member of VFW Post 9289, St. Marys; Holy Rosary Catholic Church; and the Friends of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. The love of his life was his family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys.
