Dorothy Ann Niebes, age 89 of Fairborn, passed away Saturday October 20, 2012. She was born May 20, 1923 in Belle Plaine, Iowa, the daughter of the late John and Rosie (Uridel) Kucera. Dorothy was employed by the Fairborn City Schools, retiring in 1989 after 21 years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mabel "Bunny" and Helen. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Oscar "Flash"; three sons, David (Terri) Niebes of Atlanta, Alan (Toni) Niebes of Houston, William Niebes of Fairborn; five grandchildren, Jonathan (Katie) Niebes, Heather (Edward) Sherwood, Matthew Niebes, Allison (Matt) Niebes-Davis, Ryan Niebes; and three great-grandchildren, Tristan, Molly, and Jaxson. The funeral service and burial will be held privately by the family. A public gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday October 26, 2012 from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the American Legion Dignam-Whitmore Post 526, 526 Legion Lane, Fairborn.
