John C. Brost, 25, of School Hill, died Sunday evening, Aug. 1, in the Town of Liberty, as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, and 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill. The Rev. Reginald Schrimpf will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Brost was born Oct. 29, 1956, at Sheboygan, son of Joseph and Jane Anhalt Brost. He was graduated from Kiel High School with the class of 1974. He married Marie Schad, April 28, 1979 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Schooll Hill. Mr. Brost was employed at Brost Food Market, School Hill, of which he was vice president. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Men's Club of the church, and School Hill Trap Club.
Survivors include his wife, Marie; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Brost of School Hill; two sisters, Mrs. Cornie Lulloff of Kiel, and Mrs. Dennis (Cheryl) Bargnquas of Oshkosh, and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Violet Anhalt of St. Nazianz.
Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Wednesday where a wake service will be held at 8 p.m.
