Margaret C. Langenhahn, 91, a former School Hill resident, died Wednesday afternoon, June 9, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient for the past three days. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, and 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill. The Rev. Reginald Schrimpf will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Langenhahn, nee Margaret Schneider, was born Nov. 8, 1890, at Osman, daughter of the late Julius and Margaret Walterbach Schneider. She attended school at Osman. She was married to August Langenhahn Feb. 24, 1917, at Sheboygan. The couple resided at Osman until 1927 when they moved to School Hill. Mr. Langenhahn preceded her in death in 1972. For the past two years, Mrs. Langenhahn resided at Manitowoc with her daughter, Mrs. Clarence Bennin. She as a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Mary) Bennin of Manitowoc; six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and a geat great grandchild. She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Friday where a wake service will be at 8 p.m.
