Farm Youth of Meeme Victim of Car Crash
Victor Edward Schreiber, 19-year-old Meeme farm youth, was fatally injured early Sunday morning when the car he was driving collided with a car driven by (name omitted) 27, of route 3, Plymouth, at the intersection of a town
highway with county trunk A in Franklin, Sheboygan county.(snip - details of accident)
It was announced at Sheboygan this morning that there will be no inquest.
Victor Schreiber was born in Meeme in 1926, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Schreiber. After completing his schooling he was employed on his father’s farm. He was a member of the Ada baseball team the past summer.
Funeral Thursday
Survivors are his parents and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Witthuhn of Meeme and Mrs. Norbert Koenig of Sheboygan.
Funeral services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Thursday at the Schreiber home and at 10 o’clock at the Holy Trinity church, School Hill. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The body will be taken to the home from the Meiselwitz funeral home in Kiel Tuesday evening.
