Rosa Stein Galinski, 89, a former Milwaukee resident, died Monday evening, Aug. 9, at Mesa, Ariz., after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, and 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill. The Rev. Reginald Schrimpf will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Galinski, nee Rosa Mayr, was born July 29, 1893, at Sheboygan, daughter of the late Mathias and Theresa Mayr. She attended Catholic school at School Hill.
She was married to Adam Stein at St. Nazianz, the couple residing there. He preceded her in death in 1940. She was then married to Chester Dalinski in 1946, the couple residing at Milwaukee. He preceded her in death in 1959. Mrs. Galinski was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill, and the Christian Mothers Society.
Survivors include a son, Oscar Stein of Neenah; two daughters, Mrs. Sylvester (Agnes) Schweder of Mesa, Ariz., and Mrs. Peter (Charlotte) Dhein of Elm Grove, Wis.; three brothers, Oscar Mayr of Milwaukee, Arthur Mayr of Mount Clavary, and Fred Mayr of Sheboygan; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday where a wake service will be held at 8 p.m.
