SHANE M. SWOBODA

Shane M. Swoboda, 23, of 17924 Wagner Road, Kiel, died Thursday morning,
September 7, 1989 at home after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be
9:45 am Monday at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel and 10:30 am at Holy Trinity
Catholic Church, School Hill. Rev. Reginald Schrimpf and Deacon Jim Steffen
will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Shane was born October 29, 1965 at Winter Haven, Florida, son of Kitty Warnock
Swoboda and the late Michael M. Swoboda. He was a 1984 graduate of Kiel High
School and also attended Milwaukee School of Engineering. Shane did volunteeer
work at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc and for the American Cancer
Society. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill.
Survivors include his mother, Kitty; two brothers, Brad at home and Michael Jr.
of Milwaukee; his paternal grandparents, Ruben and Margaret Swoboda of Two
Rivers; numerous uncles and aunts. He was preceded in death by his father on
November 16, 1986 and his maternal grandparents.
Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home from 4 pm to 9 pm Sunday and Monday
from 8 am to the time of services. Wake service will be 8 pm Sunday at the funeral
home.
