Henry Hatten Leaman, age 77, of 5545 Crestfield St. SW, Canton, passed away Monday morning in his home, following an extended illness. Born in Wayne County, and an area resident for the past 50 years, he was a retired farmer. A member of Eden Church of the Bretheran where he had served as Deacon for a number of years. Preceded in death by his first wife, Ethel in 1964. Survived by his wife, Jessie; one son, Leo of Lake Mokawk; two daughters, Mrs. Jacob (Grace) Wise of Navatre, and Mrs. Edward (Alice) Richards of Massilon; stepson, Harold Coss of Canton; stepdaughter, Mrs. Mary Lee Phister of Canton; brother, Paul of Creston; sister, Mrs. Huldah Sheets of Smithville; five grandchildren; six step grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in Eden Church of the Brethren with Rev. Willis Stehman officiating. Burial in Eden Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday evening7-9 in the Kreighbaum Funeral Home and one hour before service at the church on Thursday.
