Carl F. Rowe, 69, former town of Mosel farmer, passed away after suffering a heart attack at his home, 1246 Main avenue, Monday. He was born May 30, 1872, in town Mosel, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Rowe, and attended District School No. 3, a Lutheran school conducted by the late Rev. M. Denninger. For a time he worked on his father's farm, and on Nov. 19, 1907, married Laura Knoener, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Knoener. He purchased a farm in the town of Mosel, where he worked until retiring and moving to Sheboygan in 1932.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 at the Ballhorn Funeral temple and at the town Mosel Immanuel Lutheran Church. Rev. Carl Schulz will officiate and burial will be in the family lot in Wildwood cemetery.
Survivors are the widow; one daughter, Mrs. George (Esther) Wunsch; one son, Milton and two grandchildren, Albert and Donald Wunsch, all two Mosel; two brothers, Fred, Sheboygan and William of Moose Lake, MN; and a sister, Mrs. Emma ??, town Meeme. A sister and a brother preceded him in death.
He was a life-long member of Immanuel Lutheran church and was president of the congregation for many years.
