She also was a Owner of Karash Welding & Steel along with her husband, she also owned Cupid Senior Connections,She also was a Real estate Agent for 10yrs with her daughter Pam they were called the "Mother & Daughter Team".
She Loved to cook and read."Danielle Steel" was her Favorite Author, and "Julia Childs" was her Favorite Cook !!

Helen Olga Karash, 86. a resident of Harrison Township for 59 years, died Monday, May 9,2005, in Medilodge of Richmond.She was born Dec 2, 1918, in Corona,Kan.
Mrs.Karash and her late husband, Alexander; owned Karash Welding & Steel from 1940-89.She also started her own business , Cupid senior Connection, a matchmaking service to help other seniors find companions and friends.Relatives said she was an avid gardener and reader, as well as a great cook.Her family described her as a strong willed woman who always looked beautiful and classy.
She is survived by her children, Pamela Bolton, Sandra Teipel and Deborah Graziani; grandchildren, Terry Bolton, Kim Dereniak, Melissa Bolton, Jerry Harten, Jennifer Harten and Jessica Graziani; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her late husband, Alexander; and son ,James.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am. Thursday at St.Micheal Catholic Church , 40501Hayes, Sterling Heights.
Visitations is 1-9 pm Wednesday at Resurrection Funeral Home 40800 Hayes Road (south of 18 mile), Clinton Township and 10:30-11 am. Thursday at the Church.
