Alice Lou Norman, 86, of Hot Springs, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at a local hospital. She was born in Baytown, Texas on October 17, 1926 to Robert Maurice and Eddie Lou Ruth Blystone. Alice is survived by her three children, Madelyn Womack and husband, Larry, of Hot Springs; Cathy McCrary, of Hot Springs; and Maurice Norman, of Savannah Georgia; six grandchildren: Christopher McCrary and wife, Courtney, Jonathon McCrary, Nathan McCrary, Luke Womack, Buck Womack and Mary Lou Womack, all of Hot Springs. She is also survived by two brothers, Ed Blystone, of Baytown, Texas and Robert Blystone and wife, Wanda of Bedias, Texas. Alice was devoted to her grandchildren, with endless love and encouragement. As they recall; "at Halloween, she never missed an opportunity to dress up with us and enjoy the festivities". Alice was an avid animal lover. She had many memorable ‘family pets' over the years, which brought her great joy.
