Pooler- Mrs. Jane Johnson Denmark, 83, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012. Mrs. Jane was born in Savannah to the late Donald & Maurine Shearouse.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Pooler. Along with her late husband, Norris Johnson, she was the co-founder of Chatham Nurseries. She was also preceded in death by her second husband, Roland Denmark and three brothers, Jack W. Shearouse, Donald Nesbit Shearouse II and Sidney Shearouse.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Cindy & Wendall Kessler, Libby Johnson and Vickie & Tony Blocker; grandchildren and spouses, Stefanie & Blaise Willis , Laurel & Jason Harris, Johnathan & Alana Blocker and Brooke Blocker; five great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lester R. & Gwen Shearouse and Nesbit B. & Ann Shearouse and a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members. Visitation: 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Trinity United Methodist Church Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Trinity United Methodist Church located at 320 Benton Drive in Pooler with private burial to follow for family only.
