AGED RESIDENT OF TOWN
MEEME DIES ON MONDAY

Nicholas Schram, 86, long-time resident of the town of Meeme, passed away at the Schram homestead at 3 p.m. Monday following a lingering illness.
Mr. Schram was born in county Remech Luxemburg, Germany. At the age of eighteen he came to America. For ten years previous to his marriage he was employed by former U.S. Senator Isaac Stephenson in Marinette. In February, 54 years ago, Mr. Schram was married to Miss Mary Grasser, who with five children, survive.
The children are Mrs. Anton Adolph and Mrs. Peter Diehr of town of Meeme, John Schram on the homestead, Mrs. William Retella, St. Wendel, and Mrs. Frank Liebl, Sheboygan. Nine grandchildren also survive.
Twenty-one years ago Mr. Schram retired and since that time made his home with his son John on the Schram homestead. Mr. Schram was a kind and loving father, dearly loved by his many friends and neighbors. He was an ardent member of St. Fideles church and a member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin, No. 22?.
The funeral will be held at the Schram homestead in town of Meeme at 9:15 a.m. Thursday and at 9:30 o'clock with a requiem mass at St. Fideles church. the Rev. Timothy Pritzl will officiate and the interment will be on the family lot in the church cemetery.
