RICH IOWAN DROPS DEAD
L A. Libbey of Cresco Was Returning
from a Funeral.
CRESCO, IOWA.—I. A. Libbey, an old resident and one of the wealthiest farmers in this vicinity, dropped dead yesterday afternoon in front of the Alliance store. His health has been poor for over a year. He had attended the funeral of Daniel Platt at the Congregational church, had walked downtown and dropped dead as he was starting for home. He owned about five hundred acres of the finest farming land in this locality, and six sons and daughters.
He leaves a wife and six sons and daughters.
