Ada Marie Anderson Randolph, 63, of Charleston was called home by our Savior Jesus Christ Jan. 29, 2004. After battling cancer, she is now at rest.

She was born July 12, 1940, in Jackson County, the daughter of the late Rudie Belle Anderson of Charleston.

Ada, known as "Ada Mae", was a loving person who loved to be surrounded by family and friends. She was always there for those who needed her. She will be greatly missed, always loved and never forgotten.

Ada was a member of Adda Baptist Church, Hurricane, where she was very active until her illness. She leaves behind a large following of friends in Christ.

Ada is survived by her husband of 47 years, Harold Randolph; sons and their wives, Allen and Vicki Randolph of Florida, Michael Randolph of South Charleston, Bobby and Penny Randolph of Elkview, Bob and Cindy Quinn of Florida; daughter and her husband, Kim and David Taylor of Hurricane; brothers and their wives, Gene and Linda Anderson of Charleston, Clyde and Theresa Anderson of Yawkey, Ronnie and Robin Anderson of Sissonville; sister and her husband, Wanda and Herb Harper of South Charleston; grandchildren, all of whom she loved very much, Stephanie Randolph, Roger Caldwell, Kim Caldwell, Christen Randolph, Jason Randolph, Steven Randolph, Justin Randolph, Josh Randolph, Megan Taylor, Stacie Randolph and Cody Taylor; and great-grandchildren, all of whom held a special place in her heart, Tyler Randolph, Alexis Caldwell, Cameron Caldwell and two more who will be born later this year.

Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, at Myers Funeral Home, Elkview. Burial will be in Rock Memorial Cemetery, Elkview, with Pastor Tim Gilfilen and Brother David Taylor officiating.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support in this emotional time. God bless and thanks.
