From the deposition of Isabella Kidder Bourdette Albrook dated April 3, 1903
My full name is Isabella Kidder Albrook; my maiden name was Bourdette, my parents were Edward and Mary Bourdette, both dead. I have no sister. I have four brothers living, their names being George L., Peter E., Francis and Clarence R. George L. lives in Winfield, Kansas; Peter lives somewhere in the east but I don't know his post office address and neither do I know the address of Francis. Clarence lives in Gunnison, Colorado.

I was born on Long Island, New York and I lived there until I was about seven or eight years old when my people moved to Chicago, Illinois. We did not stay in Chicago but a few weeks and then moved to Hennepin, Illinois. From the time I was about ten years old I have lived with my brothers mostly, as they were married and had homes. Until I was about eighteen or twenty years old I lived in the neighborhood of Hennepin.

She was married first to Dr. Edward Higgins on December 15, 1869 in Chicago, Illinois. She divorced him on the same day she married Ezra C. Albrook on July 14, 1873 in Oswego, Labette County, Kansas.
