Margie Lee Allison, age 86, of Waynesville, NC was Born in Haywood Co., NC on May 26, 1926 and passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Silver Bluff surrounded by her loving family.

A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Harley Manson and Cora Reeves Jenkins. She was greeted in Heaven by her husband, Willie Claude Allison; a son, Robert Lee Allison; and a daughter and son-in-law, Cora and David Sheehan. Margie comes from a large loving Cove Creek family and was also preceded in death by sisters and a brother, Mary Jenkins Conard, Alma Long, Anna Dee Jenkins, Genevieve Jenkins, and Ed Jenkins.

Margie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who was loved by everyone who met her. She was a wonderful story teller who could help the sun to shine on any rainy day. Margie also spent many hours with her flowers, her cooking, and her little dog, Cricket.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter and her son, three sisters, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren and lastly the loving-caring staff of the 400 Hall of Silver Bluff Home.

A graveside service will be held at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park.
