Teddy T. Hatcher, 63, of Salem, died Saturday, July 30, 1994, after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Fisher Hatcher. He retired from the U. S. Army after serving 21 years and later retired from Richfield Retirement Community. He is survived by two sons, Michael J. Hatcher Sr. and his fiance, Sandra Gearheart, Rodney G. Hatcher; one daughter and son-in-law, Wendy S. and James W. Poore; four grandsons, Michael J. Hatcher Jr., James L. Poore, Anthony L. Poore all of Salem; Rodney G. Hatcher Jr. of Michigan; one granddaughter, Joni L. Poore of Salem; one sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and Cayin Martinez of Chicago; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Graveside service noon Tuesday, August 2, 1994, at the Hatcher-Clark Cemetery in Dunns, W.Va. with the Rev. Gary Sheppard officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, August 1, 1994, at the funeral. Arrangements by Grant E. Bryant Funeral Home, Ellis ton.
