Born on Feb. 28, 1910, in Newton, MA, he was the son of the late Howard and Ada (Maxwell) Emerson. He was the husband of Carolyn R. (Glendye) Emerson, whom he married in 1939. He was the manager of government and international sales for Birds and Sons, Inc., East Walpole, MA.
