MRS. VICTOR ASHCRAFT
NAMPA — Mrs. Dorothy Lavine Ashcraft, 27, wife of Victor J. Ashcraft of Nampa, died Monday morning at a Nampa hospital following an illness of three weeks.
Mrs. Ashcroft, who was formerly Dorothy Sparks of Caldwell, is survived by her husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon V. Sparks of Caldwell; one sister, Evelyn Sparks of Caldwell, and a brother, Harold Sparks of Moscow.
She was born October 9, 1906, in Baker City, Ore.
Following her graduation from Caldwell high school, she attended the College of Idaho two years, then taught in Baker one year. At the close of the term she was married to Victor J. Ashcroft, June 26, 1926.
The body is at Robinson's. Although definite funeral arrangements had not been completed Monday night, the service probably will be held Wednesday.
