Adelia E. Ellwood, 97, of Lindsborg, passed away October 29, 2012.

She was born August 2, 1915, the daughter of Samuel Jonathan and Ida O. (Lindberg) Anderson on a farm near Bridgeport, KS.

Adelia married Orville D. Ellwood on August 10, 1951 at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Lindsborg. Orville passed away June 25, 1991.

She was preceded in death by her husband, brother, Rollin Anderson, sisters: Laurina Cipra, and Carola Bencke, grand-niece, Lysandra Bencke, and a grand-nephew, Jordan Parsons.

Adelia is survived by her nephews: Lee Bencke, Clif Bencke, Jon Anderson, Jerry Anderson, nieces, Kay Reiff, Joni Parsons, Sheryl Rodriquez, Joyce Rathbun, Connie Kreider, six grand-nieces, 3 grand-nephews, and 6 great grand-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7pm with family present from 6-7pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM Friday at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Lindsborg, with burial following at Rose Hill Cemetery, Bridgeport.

Memorials may be designated for the Evangelical Covenant Church or in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington PO Box 386 Lindsborg, KS 67456.
