"Manuel Curtis Comaduran (Manny) passed away Oct. 16, 2012, surrounded by his family. Manny was born Feb. 7, 1950, in Benson, Ariz., to Luis and Mary Comaduran. He was a longtime resident of Douglas, Ariz.

Manny is a 1969 Benson High School graduate and moved to Douglas, where he attended and graduated from Cochise College in 1971. He went to the Arizona Department of Public Safety Academy in 1973, where he graduated as a sworn Department of Public Safety Officer, where he retired after 20 years of service.
Manny is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Mercedes Comaduran and his brother, Johnny Comaduran. He is survived by his wife of five years, Bertha Comaduran, his son, Michael (Selena) Comaduran, his daughter, Elisa Comaduran, two granddaughters he adored, Isys Rae and Danita Rae Comaduran. Manny is also survived by his brother, Luis Comaduran (Esperanza) of San Diego, Calif., his sister, Gloria Alvarez of Benson, Ariz., his brothers, Antonio Comaduran, Mariano Comaduran, Joseph Comaduran, and Jerry Comaduran, all of Benson, Ariz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Benson, Ariz., 386 E. 5th St. Benson, AZ 85602. The rosary will be held at 9 a.m., with the mass following at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, we would ask that any donations be made to Peppi's House (Hospice) in Tucson, Ariz.?
