Buckson, David Penrose b. July 25, 1920 d. January 18, 2017 Delaware Governor. A member of the Republican Party, he served as the 63rd Governor of the State of Delaware from December 1960 until January 1961. Educated at the University of Delaware, he later attained his law degree from Dickinson College. Wooten, Raymond H. 'Buddy' b. August 31, 1935 d. April 12, 2006 R&B Musician. A native of Manhattan, New York, he was the lead singer and a member of the early rhythm and blues music group, "The Mello-Moods". The group which formed in New York in the early 1950s, was one of the first black teen vocal kiddie groups, coming on the scene four years before "Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers".
