I was born in Hyden, Kentucky at the Frontier Nurse's
Service, but currently I live in the country on 40 acres in Neodesha,
Wilson Co., Kansas. I am married to a wonderful man named
Darrel Claibourn & we have six(6)children:
Bryan Wade(graduated from KU)& is currently in Alanta, Georgia,
Derek Joseph, Tyler Vaughn, Lance Robert(attending Coffeyville Community College on a Footbsll Scholarship), and
Austyn Jean, & Ashly Louise.
I love doing genealogy & volunteer at the Family History Center in the Independence Ward, Independence, Kansas. I find it very exciting & rewarding to search for my family names of my ancestors, & in that way, our children will learn who their ancestors were & where they lived.
I also like flowers/plants & find the study of Indian culture(particularly the Cherokee of SE Ky.)vey interesting.
