Born in LA, raised in Wyoming, I now live in Culpeper, VA. When I go "grave crawling" I like the stones someone cared to put a lot of thought and time into - pictures, sayings, flowers and mementos. But I look for the lonely ones - plain, broken, obvious lack of visitors, aliented from neighboring graves. Those are the ones that deserve to have someone stand by their grave and weep. Or just pause and reflect on their life lived - well or otherwise. Everyone deserves to be mourned - "time takes all but memory."In the immortal words of Warren Zevon, "Enjoy every sandwich."
