Started my genealogy hobby decades ago when I realized my parents were almost the last of their generation. Simultaneously began digging into both sides of the family. My mother's family comes from Talbot County, Maryland and most of her lines has been there for over 200 years. My father's family comes from Southern Maryland and DC and most of his lines has been here just as long.
