Bio

Family History Detective Extraordinaire.
Changed public name to add McNeely as my mother is a McNeely and that's a large part of my research.

To anyone who has been wondering where I have been. I lost my access to the email I made this account under and could not sign in because I also forgot my password. I'm back to research and will try to catch up if you've sent me a message. If I get a chance I'm gonna restart my volunteer efforts and visit some graveyards. Due to COVID, work, and a recent injury in the family I may not be very active but I will try.

Obituaries - I am trying to add some obituaries to some of the memorials I manage and some of the family if I find them. I am willing to search for obituaries in my free time if you would like to message me the info. Unfortunately the newspapers only go to the 70's online so anything after is not accessible to me and Coal Valley is also not accessible cause they're not online. If you are a West Virginia resident. You can get a Kanawha County library card and that will give you access to the newspaper archive online. If I remember correctly, you must have two proofs of address when getting a card at a branch in Kanawha County.

My disclaimer: (I use this disclaimer on my non-family memorials. I like to add any graves I take pictures of when I go on a cemetery visit. I like to research a little on the WVCulture Archives website to add information to the memorial. To inform visitors that the information may not be correct or may not tell the whole story, I place this in the bio area. The purpose of this disclaimer is to invite visitors to start conversation about the person being remembered and share information. Even incorrect information can lead to new things being found out and that is treasure to a genealogist.)

Information presented in this memorial was obtained from WVCulture Archives website. All information is reliant upon person reporting to their county authorities. All of the information presented is as recorded. Any incorrect information can be fixed by contacting memorial manager.

I would appreciate any information someone can add about this person. Please feel free to share anything you know about them by messaging me. Let's make sure they're remembered.

I have attempted to organize my family genealogy into certain virtual cemeteries. Some people are missing and some might be in the wrong virtual cemeteries. If you are browsing them, just remember they are a work in progress. Any help can be sent through messages and I will happily except any knowledge anyone is willing to share. Thanks all.
