Born in Buteni, Romania on March 10, 1951. Went to the local grade school in Buteni and to the nearby highschool in Sebis. Attended University of Timisoara, Faculty of music between 1970 and 1973. Worked as a music teacher for a very brief period at the school in Chiesd, Salaj, Romania. Emigrated to Canada in 1974, and later on, in 1981 moved to South Florida. Involved in the music ministry of the Romanian Baptist Churches of Windsor, Ontario and Hollywood, Florida. Employed by the Florida International University Library in Miami since 1982. Retired 2017.
