I was born July 7th 1939 to J.D. and Mellie Rigel Carter at Tanner Alabama. I married David Foster in 1956. He died in 1990. We had 3 children, Duke who has 2 boys Chad and Jay Foster and one grandson Morgan Foster. A daughter Sherry Bridges who married Kent Bridges and has a daughter Hannah. Another Daughter Tammy who has 2 sons Jordan and Skyler Rutherford. I married Dr. W.S. (Bill) Penningon in 1994. We live in Athens, Al.
