I am a wife, mother and grandmother- my family is my life.Now that my children are grown,I have been busy tracking our ancestry.My passion is walking through cemeteries reading the stones and wondering about these people and their families. I see graves that seem forgotten, most I am sure, are because family moves on, years pass sometimes there are no more family left.A sad thing at any rate. If not for foot traffic most of these graves would never be noticed.I always thought cemeteries were silent places just full of information but rarely visited.Then I found Find-A-Grave,I LOVE IT!!The cemeteries are silent no more.I will be a life time member.I am so happy to be a part of this site with all the wonderful people that share my intrests.
