Born in Columbus, OH to George Benjamin & Velma Lucille (Tucker) Boling. Member of the Church of Christ since 20 July 1958 when I was immersed at the Gates St congregation by Brother James Huggins. I married Richard Kent Short on 6 Sept 2003 and moved to my new home in Texas two days later.

My hobbies are genealogy, crocheting, painting, reading and I love to sing accapella hymns with others. I also love to meet new people and make new friends. I'm retired on disability (2000) due to post-polio syndrome.
