I started transcribing on FindAGrave several years ago when I added a few of my own relatives. I decided I would try to add everyone in my home cemetery (Brushy Cemetery) in Sallisaw, OK.

While I have added most of the internments for the cemetery, they were transcribed mostly from an online source and I can not guarantee they are without errors. I have begun taking photographs of the headstones and adding them as time allows. This will limit any possible transcription errors.

If you are a family member and would prefer to manage any of the grave sites that I have added, feel free to contact me and I will transfer ownership to you. Also, if you have found any errors on my part, please let me know and I will correct them.
