I found Find A Grave several years ago while searching for my beloved ancestors. Since then I have placed a memorial for my beloved Mother, Joan Finn Beard and Brother, Dean Kirk Beard. If anyone lives in Sumter, South Carolina near Evergreen Cemetery or Columbia, South Carolina near Greenlawn Cemetery on Leesburg Rd., please if you have the time visit and pay respects to them for me. I live far away now in California and don't get back as often as I wish and can afford. My Great Grandmother Minnie Bateman is resting in Turbeville, South Carolina along with many of my fathers relatives. I found her resting place one day when driving to Myrtle Beach from Columbia and something told me to stop at a church in the middle of town at an intersection. There in the back of the church next to a gravel road was my Great Grandmother Minnie and many of my relatives. To say the least, I listen to all my intuitions now.
