Born in Portland, OR in the same year (1945) my future husband was a Senior at Jefferson High School in the same city..........Kevin Hagen, "Doc Baker" of Little House on the Prairie. I've been a teacher for 40 years, moved to Grants Pass, OR the year after my son, Eric Funderburg, died (1991)in the Army. Met Kevin in 1993, we married in 1995. We were married for 10 years before his death in 2005. My daughter, Erin, lives nearby and works in law enforcement. I went to high school in Myrtle Point, OR, and college in Ashland, OR, at Southern Oregon College (now University). Currently, I teach the Illinois Valley Middle and High School Alternative Center for Three Rivers School District in Cave Junction, OR., and live in Grants Pass. A memorial bench with Kevin's ashes inside was placed at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Grants Pass, OR on July 1,2008.
