I caught the genealogy bug about 25 years ago and have not been able to shake it, I did for a short time but like the shingles it just keeps coming back! I sometimes think that in doing genealogy we concentrate so much on the past that we forget about the present. Then again sometimes I think that dealing with family members who have pasted are easier to deal with those who are living. At least when you become frustrated with them you can put them in a drawer till the next time! My family lines are Meierdirk (mothers line), Clements (step daddy's line), Pavitt (the line was born into) and Freidenberger (yes, I am that one your mama never told you about!). My direct ancestor lines are Baldwin, Duncan, Spiller, Baggett, Anderson and Kindsvater. My husband's lines are Chaney and Barton, direct ancestor lines are Curtis, Pettie, Harden, Askew and Rhines. I am always picking up branches and leaves that go to my tree so if you are one let me know. My family file is very well documented but factor in that human thing and once in I make mistakes, so if you have questions or comments drop me a line.
