I have been researching for quite some time to learn of all my ancestors.I have learned alot.The names are Porter,Anderson,Huffman from the Catawba,Roanoke area.

The Porter family came from Ireland and settled in Huntingdon,Pennsylvania.Then my greatgrandfather Warren Lytle Porter moved to Roanoke,Virginia and most of the other Porter family moved out west.

The Anderson family came to America in the 1600 from Pendley,Hertfordshire,England and settled in King Queen,Virginia.

My great grandma was Henrietta Ann Anderson from Amherst,Virginia

My mom's Father was Frank Wilson Huffman born July 3,1886.I still am looking for more info for the Huffman Family.I believe we are related to the Moomaw Family of Lancaster,Pennsylvania.

Catherine Moomaw was the daughter of Philip Moomaw and Mary Catherine Bigler.Catherine married Andrew A.Huffman of Roanoke County,Virginia.

Andrew's parents were Andrew Huffman and Mary Paxton of Botetourt,Virginia.

Andrew Huffman and Catherine Moomaw Huffman are buried in the Catawba Cemetery where my grandmother and great grandparents are and I believe my grandfather Frank Huffman's parents were David Moomaw Huffman and Mary Brillhart of Botetourt,Virgina

I would like to confirm if this is the right Huffman's as it has been hard to verify this
