Find a Grave ID

Bio

I would like to thank all the volunteers of FAG for taking time out of your busy schedules to help others with their quest to memorialize their family members and friends. Without many of you I would not have found some of my family and friends when working on my genealogy.

The only time that I add a memorial is when I have walked the Cemetery, have an obit for a person, or have personal knowledge of the death and burial of the person. I don't sit in a library and copy index books. It is not about the numbers with me.

I will be more then happy to transfer your family members to you, as long as they are not one of mine. Please use the edit button, send the required information so that I can do the transfer. I do follow the FAG rules and ask that you also do that. Please read the rules before going any further with FAG.

You may use the pictures I have add to Find A Grave in any way you like as long as it is not for a commercial purpose, and that you give proper documentation where you found the picture and that it is in my collection. I do not copy pictures from anywhere, If I have add a picture it is because I have taken that picture.

I have been doing Genealogy since 1994. I'm very active in several Genealogy Society. I'm also the County Genealogist for Lake County, IN.

The surnames I'm working on are Strickland (MI, IN), Wolf (GER, IL) Franke (GER, OH, IN, IL), Polster (GER, IN, NE, CA, MO), Purtzer/Puertzer (GER, KY, IN, NE, CA, MO, OR, AZ) Mulzer (GER, IN),Huebschmann (GER, IN, KY, WI,), Wittmann,( IN, NE, WI) Braun, ( IN, KS), Schmidt (GER, IN, IL), Fischer (IL), Eggold IL,WI, IN). If these are any name that you are working on, I will welcome an email from you.

Cousin Tami Stein and I have worked on St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Spencer County for a very long time. We have been able to connect many of the family members and with the help of Dr. Joan Huebschmann (may she rest in peace), and with the church records determined who is buried there.

Thanks for taking the time to read my Bio.
