My name is Melissa or Missy to my friends and family. I live in central Michigan and got my interest in genealogy from my grandmother. She is gone now and I miss her every day but I know that her spirit is with me in every step of my search.

I enjoy walking the cemeteries close to me and photographing the headstones to capture the information and history that so many like me are searching for. I often try to fulfill photo requests at some of my favorite cemeteries and occasionally stumble on some of my own relatives in doing so. If I grab a photo and there is no memorial for this person, I will create one for them. So, some of my memorials are not my relatives.
