An ordinary trip in 1975 to visit relatives in Canada that changed a huge part of my life.
It was a wager with my mom ( Ileana Domingue Fairchild) and maternal grandmother ( Olive Tetreault Domingue ), began my interest in genealogy. I was 10 years old.
They were trying to locate my great grandparents graves. It had been a very long time since my grandmother visited the cemetery and it had changed a little she nor my mother could remember the location of their (Noal Damase Tetreault & Albina dite Laliberte) graves.

Yes, I won the bet.
I have been hooked ever since.
