Bio

I was born and raised in Rutland, Vermont, Married, and had three children; I never thought I could love any other child as much as I loved my children until I was blessed with two grandchildren... As a Military spouse, I traveled all across the US, including spending 10 years in Alaska (God's Country). There I learned photography.
As a young child, I spent many days with my grandmother, who was a member of the D.A.R. the Ann Story Chapter, and helped her with genealogy and finding the grave of unknown soldiers to place a flag on the grave and pay respect to them. I totally enjoy researching my ancestor pretty much every day since 2009; before that, it was off and on with the help of my brother David (before his passing away); he did a Y DNA test, and I was able to find out what line of Sheldon's we are from. I have been able to break through a 30 yr old brick wall (with the help of several people who are members of The Sheldon Genealogy Facebook group but still working on the connection to Godfrey Sheldon of Maine, my father's side. I also have Sheldon's on my mother's side, which is a different line of Sheldon, and that line goes back to Issac Sheldon. Besides the Sheldon line, I also reach the Raymond, Stevens, Harrington, Bushee, Baker, Rogers, Horton, Colvin, Stone, Wade, Slate, and Cadwell, to name a few. I am willing to help others; just contact me.
