I thank everyone who has left notes on my step dad Chuck Lochard's memorial. I am a nurse who loves making a difference in my patients lives and have a world of compassion for those who have lost someone. My Chucky lived life to the fullest even on his darkest days. Losing both legs to Peripheral Vascular Disease, spending most of his last several years trying to walk again, which he never did. I used to him if he needed anything and he would say"two legs".He was only in my life too short of a time but he taught me how to be an adult and taught me life is tough but you have to keep going. When his only kidney failed and he started dialysis he told me that was the end, which a few short months later it was.He was having a shunt put in for diaylsis and had a massive MI,dying in my moms arms and joining god. That day we lost the best thing that has ever happened to us,but I know he is always with me. Thank you again for being such a great dad and I know you are in heaven walking with your mama.I will ¢¾ you forver.
