I started my ancestry search in March 2007 at the request of my brother. He was diagnosed with terminal cancer in February 2007 and went to be with our Lord in May 2007. I was able to share information about our family that he had not been able to find.

I stumbled on to the Find A Grave site in January 2008. It has been a real help in further documenting my ancestry and has saved me trips to cemeteries in other states to take pictures of family headstones. I wanted to return the favor of other volunteers by taking headstone photos in my area because I know how much it has meant to me.
