I have been working on my Trubey family that came to America from England in the 1700's Most of them are resting in the Riverside, North Chelmsford, Mass. cemetery. I have traced back to the early 1700's and have found cousins in England and Wales. When the Trubeys came to America they were mostly stonecutters or teachers in the local school system. I am also looking to find just how the lives were like for the stonecutters in the area of North Chelmsford during the late 1800's and early 1900's. I am presently, with my Mother, trying to correct some errors and omissions in the Riverside Cemetery. Years ago records were not handled like they are today and with some of my relatives having the same names it had to be confusing. If you have any info to add please let me know. I love all history of North Chelmsford during this time period. Thanks Joan
