Born on November 30, 1973 in Fall River, Massachusets, Mathew is the eldest son of Kathleen (Camara) and Timothy Reid. Over the course of his Elementary and Secondary education, Mathew attended 5 different schools in the Fall River/Somerset/Swansea area. In 1991, Mathew graduated from Somerset High School, his parents Alma Mater, and was an active member of the Chorus and Marching Band. He attended the University of Alaska, Fairbanks where he earned his Bachelors of Music degree in Vocal Performance. In September 2003, Mathew was invited to be the Associate Musical Director of the Mid Hudson Womens Chorus. In 2008, Mathew became the Executive Artistic Director of the Hudson Valley Youth Chorale. In addition to his busy rehearsal schedule and family life, Mathew has been a Public School Music Teacher since 2006 and earned his Masters Degree from the College of St. Rose in Albany, NY in 2013.
