I am researching the "Stone Family from North Carolina", that crossed the Smoky Mountains, and settled in Linary and Crossville, Tennessee, about 1800. My dads name was Roy Sampson Stone, son of Jacob (Jake) Seiver Stone; a Farmer, Builder and Preacher, from what I've been told. My grandmother was Elizabeth (Lizzy) Norris. Take a look at my "Stone Geneology Report". It has many areasneeding dates, maiden names, and additional children.Any tid-bits of information, would be "Gladly Recieved", and "Much Appreciated".In addition, I am researching the "Redwine Family from North Carolina", they too, came across the Smokies and settled in Crab Orchard, Tennessee, about 1800.My mothers name was Gladys Irene Redwine Stone, daughter of Clara Clifton and Dorse Christopher Redwine. Grandfather Redwine was a Blacksmith in Crab Orchard and later in Crossville, Tennessee. Also I have report on Murray/Harris Family
