I became involved with find-a-grave while researching my family history. I couldn't believe it when I found a photo of my great-grandfather's grave! What a fantastic find. I appreciate the time someone took to find the grave of a stranger and post it here. It is the only photographic image I have of his existence. That was when I decided to volunteer my time to hopefully do the same for someone else because I know how much this type of memorial means.
I do enjoy genealogy and I am an amateur ghost hunter. I try to combine the the photo requests with recording the sites digitally with audio and video. You never know :)
